Ofsted Inspection Announced
Monday 8th August, 2011
On Friday 12th August 2011 Michaeljohn Training School received notification of our next routine inspection by the Office for Standards in Education (OFSTED). Ofsted inspectors regularly visit Government funded training organisations including schools, colleges, training providers and universities every 4-6 years to assess their performance against the Common Inspection Framework 2009.
During the inspection period inspectors will review our policies, procedures, management information systems, interview our staff, speak to our learners and employers. Disruption to normal operations will be minimal and planned sessions will continue as normal.
It is standard practice for inspectors to visit employer's premises during the inspection period, to observe progress reviews and in-salon training sessions taking place. Inspectors may also wish to speak to employers and learners in the workplace regarding their views of Michaeljohn Training School.
All inspectors are CRB checked and will adhere to our Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities and Safeguarding policies and procedures. If you have any questions, queries or concerns please contact our Inspection Nominee Lesley McCormack, our Operations Director Simon Stuart or Business Development Manager Leon Duffield on 0161 819 2662 or by email to lesley.mccormack@mj-training.co.uk
The inspection team has asked us to inform both learners and employers how they may submit their feedback prior to inspection. If you are a current learner or employer and would like to submit feedback to the inspectors please email lesley.mccormack@mj-training.co.uk for directions to the survey site.
